<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to discuss this issue at a future <br />meeting and that Phil should get some information regarding if local <br />nursery businesses were interested in this program. <br /> <br />Water Tower and Filtration Building <br /> <br />Phil Hals explained that plans are underway to build a water treatment <br />and a water filtration building on the E & 0 site between Gary and <br />Hudson Streets. Pat Klaers indicated that the Park and Recreation <br />Commission moved to recommend to locate the water treatment building as <br />near to the future water tower as possible, however, a more preferred <br />location from a cost point of view has been identified. <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman suggested forwarding this issue to the Utilities <br />Commission for a recommendation. It was the consensus of the Council <br />to concur with the Utilities decision regarding the location of the <br />water treatment building unless a new option that has not been previous <br />discussed is approved. <br /> <br />5.
