Call Meetina To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. <br /> <br />2. Consider Agenda <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman requested that items 4.2 and 4.3 be reversed. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/26/94 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider 9/12/94 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/12/94 CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />4.1. Discuss Council participation in 10/7/94 Elk River Homecomina Parade <br /> <br />The Council indicated that it desired to participate in the October 7, 1994, <br />Homecoming Parade. The City Clerk indicated she would make arrangements <br />for the Council to ride a Fire Truck in the parade. <br /> <br />4.3. Consider transfer of Peterson Brothers Sanitation, Inc" aarbaae contract <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers, indicated that Peterson Brothers Sanitation, Inc. is in <br />the process of selling its refuse service to Woodlake Sanitary Service, Inc. (BFI). The <br />City's Agreement for Garbage, Refuse and Recycling Collection with Peterson <br />requires that Peterson not sell any interest in the Agreement without the prior <br />written approval of the City. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Representatives of Peterson Brothers Sanitation and BFI were present to answer <br />questions regarding the business transfer. <br /> <br />..... <br />
