COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />R.D. Elliott 75-132-1211 <br /> <br />Total Valuation $153,300: Land $48,900: Buildina $104,400 <br /> <br />Mr. Elliott indicated that one year ago his home was appraised at $150,000 by an <br />independent appraiser. He further indicated that the value of his home has <br />increased by $20,000 since 1992. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO LOWER THE PROPERTY VALUATION OF PARCEL <br />75-132-1211 TO $151,700. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />7. Brian Hipsao 75-523-0160 <br /> <br />Total Valuation $118.200: Land $27,500: Buildina $95.700 <br /> <br />Mr. Hipsag indicated that he received a 15% increase in valuation to his buildings. <br />Assessor Cullen indicated that a similar increase was received by all Elk River <br />residents. He reviewed comparable properties that have sold in the $118,000 <br />price range. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCllMEMBER DIETZ MOVED THAT THE PROPERTY VALUATION OF $118,200 <br />REMAIN THE SAME FOR PARCEL 75-523-0160. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Darryl Branham 75-532-0256 <br /> <br />Total Valuation $132,500; Land $21,500: Buildina $111,000 <br /> <br />Darryl Branham stated that he felt his property was appraised too high. He <br />indicated that he had received two separate appraisals; one at $122,000 and <br />another in December of 1993 at $125,000. Mr. Bischoff reviewed the $125,000 <br />appraisal and indicated that the appraisal was not accurate. Assessor John <br />Cullen reviewed some comparable homes that have sold in the price range of <br />$132,500. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO lOWER THE PROPERTY VALUATION OF PARCEL <br />75-532-0256 TO $130,000.
