Call Meetina To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. 2. Consider Agenda e COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/25/94 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 3. Consider 7118/94 City Council Minutes COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/18/94 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 4.1. Consider release of 1994 Arts Council funds 4.2. Presentation from Arts council Representatives for 1995 fundina The City Administrator indicated that the 1994 City Budget includes a $5,000 contribution to the Arts Council provided that the Arts Council match the City's contribution prior to the City releasing the funds. Upon review of the financial documentation by the Finance Director, it is recommended that the City release the $5,000 to the Arts Council from the 1994 City budget. Dr. David Flannery, President of the Elk River Area Arts Council gave a brief presentation of the Arts Council's recent activities. He stated that the Arts Council is requesting continued financial support from the City of Elk River in the amount of $6,000 for 1995. e Mayor Duitsman indicated that the Council will take the $6,000 request under consideration during the budget process.
