<br />Elk River City Council Meeting <br />June 27, 1994 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO POSTPONE DEDUCTING THE INCREASED <br />PREMIUM FROM EMPLOYEES' CHECKS IN JULY, AND IF NECESSARY, ALLOW <br />EMPLOYEES SEVERAL MONTHS TO PAY THE PREMIUM BACK TO THE CITY. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />Lori Johnson indicated that Council member Farber wanted to be involved in <br />resolving this issue. She further indicated that she will be forming an Employee <br />Insurance Advisory Committee to work on this issue. <br /> <br />10. Other Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren requested that an update be given by the Police <br />Chief following the July 4th celebration at Orono Park. <br /> <br />11. Staff Update <br /> <br />. <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the tipping fees at the RDF plant <br />are proposed to be reduced. <br /> <br />12. Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
