<br />Elk River City Council Minutes <br />April 4, 1994 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Staff Updates <br /> <br />Pat Klaers, City Administrator, indicated that the Fire Department has requested a <br />special meeting with the Council on Thursday, April 14, to receive input from the <br />Council regarding the restructuring of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />It was the consensus that the April 14, date was not available and further that the <br />Council would make a decision regarding a meeting date on April 11. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the Ambulance Committee had met and <br />voted in favor of creating an auxiliary ambulance unit which would not require <br />ambulance personnel to be a member of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />The City Administrator distributed a handout from Jay Johnson, Development <br />Manager for Tony Emmerich Homes, regarding the Country Crossing Plat. The <br />handout showed an alternative to the originally proposed plat which would save <br />the trees in question. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the City received the variance <br />to apply for turnback funds for Jackson Avenue. <br /> <br />The City Administrator reminded the Council that Minnesota Cities annual <br />meeting will be held June 7-10 in st. Paul. <br /> <br />12. Adiournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION.
