<br />Elk River city Council Meeting <br />January 3, 1994 <br /> <br />--------------------- <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4.1. Highway 101 Update/Jim Tralle <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Jim Tralle and Dick Hinkle were present to update the Council on <br />the progress of the Highway 101 project. Jim Tralle indicated <br />that he and Dick Hinkle were Chair and Co-chair of a task force <br />formed to try to speed up the Highway 101 project. Jim indicated <br />that all projects in Minnesota have been pushed back between four <br />months and six years. Highway 101 from County Road 42 to Rogers <br />has been delayed for three years. Jim Tralle indicated that a <br />meeting has been scheduled with area legislators and city <br />officials. The Mayor indicated his desire to be a representative <br />of the City of Elk River on the Task Force and the City Council <br />concurred with this request. <br /> <br />5. Consider Resolution Adopting Consent Agenda Format <br /> <br />The City Clerk requested the Council to consider adopting a <br />Agenda" format for future council meetings. She stated that a <br />agenda is a tool to help shorten council meetings and is used <br />noncontroversial items. <br /> <br />"Consent <br />consent <br />only for <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 94-1, A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING A CONSENT AGENDA FORMAT FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION.
