e e e MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 1994 Members Present: Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Farber, Holmgren, scheel, and Dietz Members Absent: None staff Present: Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Lori Johnson, Finance Director; Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk; Tom Zerwas, police Chief; steve Rohlf, Building and zoning Administrator; and Mark Thompson, street Department Maintenance Worker 1. Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. 2. Consider January 3, 1994, City Council Agenda Mayor Duitsman requested that item 10.1, Flag Contest be postponed. COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 3, 1994, CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3. Board and Commission Interviews The City Council interviewed the following individuals at this time. Gene Schuldt Requested reappointment to appointment to EDA. Indicated his preference both commissions. the HRA. as being Also requested appointed to Jeff Gongoll Requested reappointment to the EDA. Also indicated an interest in the Utilities Commission, HRA, and Park and Recreation Commission - indicating his preference as being reappointed to the EDA. Dave Anderson Commission.
