<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />· Employees may not send e-mail or voice-mail messages that attempt to hide the identity of the <br />sender or that represent the sender as someone else or someone from a different city or a <br />company. <br /> <br />· Employees must respect all copyrights and intellectual property rights of others' materials, and <br />may not copy, retrieve, modify or forward copyrighted, patented or trademarked materials <br />except as permitted by the owner or as a single copy for reference use only. <br /> <br />· Internet e-mail and World Wide Web access usage is not confidential. The City receives <br />detailed monthly reports on Internet e-mail usage by individual and the City's software tracks <br />each World Wide Web site you visit. <br /> <br />Employees who violate any of the guidelines may be subject to disciplinary action <br />including, but not limited to, written warnings, revocation of access privileges and employee <br />termination. <br /> <br />TRA VEL EXPENSES <br /> <br />An employee will be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred when travelling on <br />City business only upon approval of such expenses by the City Council according to the City's <br />Travel Policy attached hereto as Exhibit A. In order to receive reimbursement, the employee <br />must promptly fill out the appropriate claim form and submit it to the department head for <br />consideration and approval. <br /> <br />KEYS AND SECURITY <br /> <br />Each employee is responsible for securing his/her work area at the end of each day. Be sure that <br />your office, confidential files, etc., are properly secured. All keys in your possession that are for <br />City facilities and/or equipment must be returned to your Supervisor upon termination of <br />employment. <br /> <br />PERSONAL USE AND DISPOSAL OF CITY PROPERTY <br /> <br />Personal Use <br /> <br />All City property and equipment is publicly owned. City-owned equipment and facilities are not <br />available for personal use by employees. Personal use of all City vehicles, machinery, tools, and <br />other equipment is strictly prohibited. <br /> <br />Disposal <br /> <br />From time to time, City property becomes obsolete, is damaged, or is not needed. Such <br />equipment will be disposed of by the City through salvage, trade, public auction, bid, or other <br />means. If it is determined that a sale or auction is the best way to dispose of property, a notice <br /> <br />24 <br />
