<br />6. Community Reports <br />a. Dayton - Recently dedicated a soccer field. Past weekend was their Heritage Festival, which <br />went well. Shirley shared some disappointment that they were now competing with Elk <br />River (same name, same weekend). They also received a $15,000 donation from the Dayton . <br />Lions and are trying to get matching funds to replace some playground equipment. They also <br />acquired 11 acres along the Mississippi River for parks. <br />b. Elk River - Railroad trail is now complete. <br />c. Hassan Township - Working on trails and a 5-acre park site. <br />d. Otsego - Very busy. The water tower is almost complete. <br />e. Rogers - No report. <br />f. ISD 728 - Focus on bond this fall. <br />7. Set next meeting <br />Monday, October 18, 1999 will be the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br />8. Adjournment <br />Shirley Slater made a motion to adjourn, Roger Rosenquist seconded. 5-0. <br /> <br />. <br />. <br />
