The planning commission is required to hold at <br /> <br />least one public hearing on a proposed comprehensive plan <br /> <br />or amendment thereto prior to adoption by the governing <br /> <br />body of any such plan or amendment thereto. Notice of the <br /> <br /> <br />time, place and purpose of the hearing must be published <br /> <br /> <br />once in the official newspaper of the jurisdiction at least ten <br /> <br /> <br />days before the day of the hearing. Notice of a proposed <br /> <br />county or regional plan must be provided to a number of <br /> <br />state agencies, and coordination with surrounding counties <br /> <br />and municipalities within the county is required. Minn. <br />Stat. ~894.232. <br />d) Planning Commission Recommendation.
