Ken Stevens presented an update on land use analysis and station area planning. In addition, the Committee received an update on the meetings held with the various City representatives. Meetings were held with the following cities: Elk River, Anoka, S1. Cloud, Coon Rapids, Ramsey, Becker, Fridley, Big Lake, Minneapolis, Clear Lake, and Rice. Feedback from the cities will be presented to the Project Management Team and the Technical Advisory Committee for their review on July 22. A list of preferred station locations will then be presented to the NCDA in August for its consideration and input. .. 4. Mary Richardson, Richardson, Richter and Associates, provided an update on Burlington Northern Santa Fe negotiations. 5. MIS/EIS Update: a. Stephanie Eiler summarized the No-Build Alternative to the Northstar Corridor Major Investment Study dated June 10, 1999. c. A motion was made by Duane Grandy, seconded by Dan Erhart and carried unanimously to approve the Transportation Systems Management (TSM) Alternative for the Northstar Corridor Major Investment Study dated June 24, 1999, as prepared and presented by BRW, Inc. The TSM Alternative builds on the No-Build Alternative and includes infrastructure improvements that will benefit transit operations along with improvements 3 .
