City Council Mututes <br />June 5, 2017 <br />Page 8 <br />Mr. Sevcik indicated last year's hunt was more about having a successful hunt and <br />they didn't have a harvest figure set because they weren't sure what to expect. He felt <br />this year's harvest could possibly net around 10-15 deer. <br />Moved by Councihnember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Ovall to <br />authorize conducting controlled archery deet hunts for 2017 within select park <br />units as outlined in the staff report. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />8.6. Discuss Work Session Items <br />Mr. Portner presented the staff report. <br />8.7 Dave Anderson Athletic Complex <br />Mayor Dietz stated he recently became aware of some sprinkler system and lighting <br />repairs needed at the Dave Anderson Athletic Complex, which were being put on <br />hold because staff indicated there was still the idea that a community center might be <br />built at that location. Mayor Dietz wanted to verify with the rest of the Council if <br />they were still considering a community center. <br />Council consensus was not interested in building a community center. <br />Mayor Dietz indicated the repairs should be made to maintain the property. <br />Mr. Portner stated staff may have been holding off on making repairs because of the <br />uncertainty of future plans and a future work session item will include this <br />discussion. <br />9.1 Council Liaison Updates <br />Updates were provided. <br />Council recessed 7:57 p.m. to move into work session and reconvened at 8:02 p.m. <br />10.1 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Audit (CAFR) Review <br />Ms. Ziemer presented the staff report. She introduced Chris Knopik, Public Sector <br />Principal, and Michelle Hoffman, Public Sector Manager, representing the firm <br />CliftonLarsonAllen. <br />Mr. Knopik and Ms. Hoffman provided a detailed analysis of the draft CAFR report <br />and answered various questions from the Council. <br />101 E1[I Ir <br />*NATURE <br />
