City Council Minutes <br />June 5, 2017 <br />Page G <br />authorized in its approval until the site is appropriately investigated <br />and work is authorized. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember Ovall <br />to approve the Development Agreement for Miske Meadows Third Addition <br />as outlined in the staff report. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />8.1. Recycle Coach Demonstration <br />Ms. Bednar presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz asked how the city is promoting the Recycle Coach widget. <br />Ms. Bednar indicated the city's website had a link to information and in the future <br />would be more heavily promoted after the city's website redesign. <br />8.2. Energy City Commission 10 Year Action Plan <br />Ms. Bednar presented the staff report. <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen <br />to approve the Energy City Commission's 10 -Year Action Plan updates as <br />outlined in the staff report. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />8.3. Ordinance Amendment: Energy City Commission <br />Ms. Bednar presented the staff report. <br />Councilmember Westgaard asked why the landfill representative was being removed, <br />noting the importance of keeping Waste Management engaged with the city and <br />utilizing their waste -to -energy demonstration sites and diesel generators. <br />Mr. Sagstetter stated Waste Management has a strong partnership with the city and <br />was more than willing to participate in the commission but they don't have a full- <br />time salaried position available to attend meetings. He stated the landfill is in <br />agreement with removal of the member and in the future will submit an application <br />for inclusion on the commission when they are staffed to participate. <br />Moved by Councilmember Olsen and seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard to adopt Ordinance Amendment 17-10 revising the City Code <br />Chapter 2, Division 8, Energy City Commission as outlined in the staff report. <br />raIIRI1 er <br />NATURE <br />
