A copy <br /> <br />of the decision shall be forwarded to the commissioner within ten <br /> <br />days of such action. <br /> <br />906.06 - WILD AND SCENIC RIVER LAND USE DISTRICT <br /> <br />1. Wild and Scenic River Designation and Boundaries. <br /> <br />A. In order to preserve and protect the Mississippi River <br /> <br />and its adjacent lands which possess outstanding scenic, <br /> <br />recreational, natural, historical, scientific, and similar <br /> <br />values, the Mississippi River in the city of Elk River has <br /> <br />been designated as a Wild and Scenic River District, the <br /> <br />boundaries of which are based on the Mississippi River rule, <br /> <br />Minnesota Rules, parts 6105.0910 and 6105.0950. <br /> <br />B. The boundaries of the Mississippi Wild and Scenic River <br /> <br />District are shown on the map as designated as the City of <br /> <br />Elk River Official Zoning Map, which is made a part of this <br /> <br />ordinance and is on file with the zoning administrator. In <br /> <br />case of conflict between the Zoning Map and the property <br /> <br />descriptions in Minnesota Rules, the former shall prevail. <br /> <br />2. Mississippi Wild and Scenic River Overlay District. <br />
