EMPLOYMENT ANALYSIS • Up until 2006, the unemployment rate in Sherburne County has been on par with that of the State of Minnesota. The rate remained roughly a full percentage point higher from 2006 through 2010. Since 2010, the unemployment rate difference compared to the State of Minnesota has been shrinking and in 2014 was back to earlier figures. Both the County and the State unemployment rates are below the national average.
