City Ordinance, section 900.32
. Ordinance 99-

Overview

The city ordinance requires a minimum driveway setback of 5 feet from a
side property line. This is in conflict with the regulations for a minimum
distance between driveways of 20 feet. The 5 foot setback is the more
sensible minimum as it more closely matches the driveway configuration
when a cul-de-sac is created.

Ordinance Amendment

The amendment will delete the words:

Minimum Distance Between Driveways. Twenty (20) feet, between
roadway edges measured along street curb line.

PlanninI! Commission

At the March 27, 1999, public hearing, no one spoke for or against this
ordinance amendment.

.

\ \elkriver\sys\shrdoc\p lanning\stevewen \ccmmo \oa99-4cc. doc

13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
