<br />Regular Meeting Minutes
<br />February 4. 1999

<br />The Northstar Corridor Development Authority met on February 4, 1999, at 4:30 p.m. at
<br />the Sherburne County Government Center, Elk River, Minnesota.

<br />1. Chairperson Wergin called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />2. A motion was made by Duane Grandy, seconded by Jerry Leese and carried
<br />unanimously to approve the agenda of February 4, 1999, with no additions and
<br />the meeting minutes of January 7, 1999, regular meeting minutes as amended.
<br />
<br />3. Ken Stevens reported on the tour of the California Commuter Rail System which
<br />many members visited in January, 1999. There is a policy-maker tour scheduled
<br />for February 18-21, 1999, Los Angeles and San Diego for those members
<br />interested in attending with one-half of the cost to be reimbursed by the Authority
<br />to the governmental authority.
<br />
<br />4. Dick Wolsfeld, BRW, Inc. reviewed the key elements of the Phase II Technical
<br />Work Program for completing the Northstar Corridor Major Investment Study and
<br />Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Commuter Rail Service dated
<br />January 29, 1999.
