Mroz provided an update of the City Council request for a resolution on October 17. <br />The Mayor's Monarch Pledge is a National Wildlife Federation pledge for city <br />mayors to take action on pollinator habitat. The City Council passed the resolution. <br />Great River Energy also presented on their pollinator habitat restoration project at <br />the Energy Recovery Station. <br />6. Announcements <br />7.1 Commissioner Updates <br />Sagstetter discussed that the ERMU rebates are on track for 2016. <br />Flatland mentioned that Salk Middle School will be undergoing interior <br />renovations including HVAC. Flatland would like the ISD 728 to include <br />sustainable and STEM aspects into the design. Mroz will include Flatland in <br />discussions with Greg Hein of ISD 728. <br />7.2 Staff Updates <br />Mroz discussed the fall partnerships with the University of St. Thomas <br />Sustainable Communities Partnership. <br />Mroz discussed Jolene Jansen form ERMU and Mroz went to the Clean <br />Energy Community Awards Conference. <br />Mroz discussed the final draft of the City Green Fleet Guide. <br />Mroz explained the Recycling Videos that erTV will be creating with local <br />residents. <br />Mroz provided a recap of the German Delegation visit in October. <br />8.
