THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br /> <br />5.4. Consider Resolution Requesting Municipal State Aid <br /> <br /> The City Engineer indicated that staff is requesting Council to consider an advancement of <br />$750,000 from the Municipal State Aid general fund. He explained that the advancement <br />would be used for funding of the TH10/Waco Street signalization, 175th Avenue project <br />and the TH 10/Main Street project. <br /> <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 03-13 <br />REQUESTING A GENERAL FUND ADVANCE FROM THE MUNICIPAL <br />STATE AID SYSTEM. COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.5. National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit ( NPDES) <br /> <br /> Environmental Technician Rebecca Haug indicated that the City is required to obtain a <br />NPDES Phase II permit by March 10, 2003. She explained that the purpose of the permit is <br />to develop and implement programs and practices to control impacted storm water runoff. <br /> <br />5.6. Consider Award of Auto Files for City Hall Project <br /> <br /> Finance Director Lori Johnson indicated that the bid package for the filing systems at City <br />Hall were not awarded in July. She noted that Haldeman-Homme was the only bidder on <br />the project at $51,476. The Finance Director indicated that two reconditioned filing units <br />have become available which would save the city $19,059. She requested the Council to <br />award the bid to Haldeman-Homme for the filing systems and to include the two <br />reconditioned units. <br /> <br /> COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE MOVED TO AWARD THE FILING SYSTEM <br />BID TO HALDEMAN HOMME AND TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF <br />ONE NEW REMSTAR MEDIA STATION FOR THE PLANNING <br />DEPARTMENT AND TWO RECONDITIONED REMSTAR MEDIA <br />STATIONS FOR THE ATTORNEY AND FINANCE DEPARTMENTS AT A <br />TOTAL COST OF $32,417, PLUS DELIVERY AND STORAGE FOR THE <br />RECONDITIONED UNITS. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.7. Update on Impact of State Budget Proposal <br /> <br /> The City Administrator provided an update on the Governor’s proposal and the impact it <br />could have on the City budget in 2003 and 2004. <br /> <br />5.8.
