<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Storm Sewer <br /> <br />An 18-inch storm sewer pipe and catch basin is located at the south end of Upland <br />Avenue. Runoff from Upland Avenue approximately 150 feet west on Main Street flows <br />to this catch basin. In addition, the Upland Avenue runoff from approximately Fifth <br />Street south flows to this catch basin. <br /> <br />A 12-inch storm sewer system and catch basins are located at the end of Fifth Street <br />west of Upland Ave. Runoff from Fifth Street from approximately Upland Avenue flows <br />to these catch basins, which then flow into a pond to the north of Fifth Street located in <br />the Bailey Beck Addition. <br /> <br />A 21-inch storm sewer system and catch basins are located in the backyards east of <br />Tipton Avenue. Runoff from the backyards, Tipton Avenue, TH 10 and a significant <br />portion of the Cretex property located north of TH 10 flows through this system. The <br />storm sewer system flows to Main Street then to the Elk River. <br /> <br />A 12-inch storm sewer system and catch basins are located at the end of Fifth Street <br />approximately 300 feet west of Seymour Avenue. Runoff from Fifth Street from the <br />intersection of Rush Avenue and Fifth Street to the east flows to these catch basins. <br /> <br />A 12-inch storm system and catch basins are located at the intersection of Fifth Street <br />and Proctor Avenue. Runoff from Fifth Street and Proctor Avenue flows into these catch <br />basins and then south following Proctor Avenue into a storm sewer system on Main <br />Street. <br /> <br />A 12-inch storm system and catch basins are located at the intersection of Fifth Street <br />and Norfolk Avenue. Runoff from Fifth Street and Norfolk flows into these catch basins <br />and then north into a storm sewer on the north side of TH 10. <br /> <br />The existing storm sewer is shown as Exhibit 5. <br /> <br />Existina Private Utilities <br /> <br />Private utilities that have facilities in or near the project area will be notified of the project <br />and requested to incorporate repairs and replacements with the project as needed at <br />their cost. Private utilities include Charter Communications, Elk River Municipal Utilities, <br />Minnegasco, Northstar Access, Sherburne Telephone Systems, and Qwest. <br /> <br />V. PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />The proposed improvements for the 20'05 Street Reconstruction Project include street, <br />storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain construction. A detailed description of each <br />proposed improvement is provided below. <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />The proposed typical section for the majority of the streets will be in accordance with the <br />section adopted as part of the Pavement Rehabilitation Report.
