They may be owned <br />or leased. Funding other than municipal tax receipts may be used to provide for those responsibilities, <br />but those costs must be guaranteed by city council resolution and city levy authority. All requirements <br />under Minnesota Statute 134.34 must be met. <br />A. New Libraries - Building Requirements* <br />1. The city wishing to add a new GRRL library location needs to meet all GRRL specifications for <br />community size, facility space and distance from other GRRL libraries as outlined in GRRL policy <br />and the GRRL Branch Agreement or other requirements set by the GRRL Board of Trustees. <br />Revised 11.2016 Page 8 <br />
