Peggy Aho <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 12:08 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Minutes: Paul McCarron moved approval of the minutes of the September 21. <br />2000 meeting. The motion waS seconded by Mark Stenglein and unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />3. Checks and Claims: Paul McCarron moved approval of the checks and claims as <br />presented. The motion was seconded by Lewis Stark and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />4. Contract for Public Information Services: Per direction from the Executive <br />Committee and in accordance with Mn/DOT and FT A requirements, staff <br />undertook a sole source procurement process for public information and <br />involvement services with Himle Horner. Paul McCarron made a motion that the <br />Executive Committee recommend that the NCDA approve an agreement with <br />Himle Horner, Inc. for Public Information Services with a term of November 2 <br />through December 31,2000 for an amount not to exceed $40,000 and authorize <br />the chair to execute the agreement. Motion was seconded by Mark Stenglein and <br />was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />5. NCDA Contracts for2001: Tim Yantos reviewed a list of proposed NCDA <br />Contracts for 2001. The contracts are consistent with and set forth in the 2001 <br />NCDA budget as approved by the NCDA at its July 6, 2000 meeting. A motion <br />was made by Paul McCarron that the Executive Committee recommend that the <br />NCDA approve the proposed 2001 contracts as shown in the list to follow and <br />authorize the Chair to finalize negotiations and execute the contract amendments <br />with a term of January 1,2001 to December 31,2001, as follows: 1) Ken Stevens, <br />$165,000; 2) Richardson, Richter & Associates, $250,000; 3) Harkins Cunningham <br />
