The next meeting of the NCDA will be scheduled for November 2,2000. c) A motion was made by Dan Erhart, seconded by Jerry Goebel, and carried unanimously to approve the recommendation of the Executive Committee to approve Amendment #2 to MnlDOT Agreement No. 78569, as follows: Increase the contract amount by $2,500,000; Extend the term of the contract to June 30, 2002; and Provide for necessary changes to the federal conditions. and authorize the Chairperson to sign said agreement. d) A motion was made by Mark Stenglein, seconded by Lewis Stark, and carried unanimously to approve the recommendation of the Executive Committee to approve the following contract amendments for 2000: Amendment No.2 to David Loch and Associates contract increasing the contract . amount by $15,000 for a total amount of $30,000 for Calendar Year 2000. Amendment No.4 to the Ken Stevens contract increasing the contract amount by $65,000 for a total amount of$165,000 for Calendar Year 2000. Amendment No.5 to the Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. contract increasing the contract amount by $30,000 for a total amount of $230,000 for Calendar Year 2000. and authorize the Chairperson to sign said Amendments. e) A motion was made by Dan Erhart, seconded by Mark Stenglein, and carried unanimously to approve Resolution #2000-8 authorizing the NCDA to enter into Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the Design and Construction of Multi-modal Facilities and authorize the Chairperson or Vice Chairperson to execute the Agreement. 5. Tim Yantos, Jan Lucke and Jeff Dehler presented a report on the August 10,2000, Public Information Commuter Rail Demonstration Project. 6. A motion was made by Mark Stenglein, seconded by Lewis Stark, and carried unanimously to approve the recommendation ofthe Executive Committee to review other firms who responded to the RFP issued previously and for which Shandwick had been hired. Staff will interview the public information/public involvement firms and return with a recommendation to the Executive Committee at its October 19 meeting with a recommendation for NCDA approval on November 2. 7. Tim Yantos presented an update on the BNSF negotiations regarding capacity modeling. . 8. Paul Ostrow provided information on the proposed Minneapolis baseball stadium multi-modal site. 9.
