<br />;' <br /> <br />\, <br /> <br />That URSIBRW certify that the URSIBRW NCDA project manager, Paul . <br />Danielson, give his full dedication to the NCDA project and not act as <br />project manager on any other project. <br />That URSIBRW increase its DBE participation to 12% as required by <br />MnlDOT. <br /> <br />b) A motion was made by Duane Grandy, seconded by Jerry Leese and carried unanimously to <br />cancel the October 5, 2000 NCDA meeting due to a conflict with schedules. The next <br />meeting of the NCDA will be scheduled for November 2,2000. <br /> <br />c) A motion was made by Dan Erhart, seconded by Jerry Goebel, and carried unanimously to <br />approve the recommendation of the Executive Committee to approve Amendment #2 to <br />MnlDOT Agreement No. 78569, as follows: <br /> <br />Increase the contract amount by $2,500,000; <br />Extend the term of the contract to June 30, 2002; and <br />Provide for necessary changes to the federal conditions. <br /> <br />and authorize the Chairperson to sign said agreement. <br /> <br />d) A motion was made by Mark Stenglein, seconded by Lewis Stark, and carried unanimously <br />to approve the recommendation of the Executive Committee to approve the following <br />contract amendments for 2000: <br /> <br />Amendment No.2 to David Loch and Associates contract increasing the contract . <br />amount by $15,000 for a total amount of $30,000 for Calendar Year 2000. <br />Amendment No.4 to the Ken Stevens contract increasing the contract amount by <br />$65,000 for a total amount of$165,000 for Calendar Year 2000. <br />Amendment No.5 to the Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. contract increasing <br />the contract amount by $30,000 for a total amount of $230,000 for Calendar Year <br />2000. <br /> <br />and authorize the Chairperson to sign said Amendments. <br /> <br />e) A motion was made by Dan Erhart, seconded by Mark Stenglein, and carried unanimously to <br />approve Resolution #2000-8 authorizing the NCDA to enter into Agreement with the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation for the Design and Construction of Multi-modal <br />Facilities and authorize the Chairperson or Vice Chairperson to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br />5. Tim Yantos, Jan Lucke and Jeff Dehler presented a report on the August 10,2000, Public <br />Information Commuter Rail Demonstration Project. <br /> <br />6. A motion was made by Mark Stenglein, seconded by Lewis Stark, and carried unanimously to <br />approve the recommendation ofthe Executive Committee to review other firms who responded to <br />the RFP issued previously and for which Shandwick had been hired. Staff will interview the public <br />information/public involvement firms and return with a recommendation to the Executive Committee <br />at its October 19 meeting with a recommendation for NCDA approval on November 2. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Tim Yantos presented an update on the BNSF negotiations regarding capacity modeling. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />8. Paul Ostrow provided information on the proposed Minneapolis baseball stadium multi-modal site. <br /> <br />9. Tim Yantos and Mary Richardson reviewed the proposed Advanced Corridor Plan review process. <br />Page 2 <br />
