City parking lot on River will reopen with 6 less spots. Lot behind sunshine depot will be reconfigured to replace some of lost spots in upper lot. Website & Facebook: Tim = new website will be active in 6 days: send him 2 to 3 images and a quip about the businesses. We are wondering if anybody has postcards left? Have they all been sold? Vote on Ranking of downtown priorities: Benches, Mural, Planters, Bike Racks (have bike racks? Will the park have some when done? Do a query to downtown members add a suggestion box. Project based art grant? In addition Rotating art exhibit downtown Downtown Decorative Lights — remember not to tightly wrap lights around trunks of trees — will need to get replugged in. Tim Letter to City to request no parking permits 2017. Hold off on sending letter — Jennifer working with Cal Porter to investigate and manage parking concerns — signage, street parking and lot. Downtown Brochures: Tim will have a draft available at next meeting for proofing. Halloween Trick/Treat Friday October 28 from 11 am to 5pm. Off Topic Marketing will take pictures of Trick or Treaters at Rivers Edge Commons Park. Christmas Tree Lighting Sat November 26 (Small Business Saturday): Jude Rickert offered to organize singing. Start at 5PM light tree at 5:30PM. Remember to test electrical in park. Find out where light box is. Banner for tree lighting and small business Saturday. Decklan Group will sponsor the tree.
