<br />City Council Minutes <br />October 9, 2000 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the County would be holding an <br />informational session on property tax administration. He noted that the council is <br />invited to attend. The session is planned for October 26 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at <br />the Big Lake City Council Chambers. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the School Board has scheduled <br />a joint meeting with all city councils, boards and commissions to discuss their <br />comprehensive planning processes, residential and commercial development <br />plans and plans for utilities. He suggested calling a special meeting in case a <br />quorum of the Council attends the meeting. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR NOVEMBER 16, 2000, AT 7 P.M. AT MEADOWV ALE ELEMENTARY <br />SCHOOL TO DISCUSS COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING PROCESSES, RESIDENTIAL AND <br />COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS AND PLANS FOR UTILITIES. COUNCILMEMBER <br />FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR OCTOBER 23, 2000, AT 5:00 P.M. TO MEET JOINTLY WITH THE HRA TO <br />DISCUSS AND PROVIDE DIRECTION FOR CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT PLANNING. <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION.
