The project consisted of constructing Supplemental Safety <br /> Measures in the form of non-surmountable medians and also upgraded the trail signage and pavement markings at <br /> the crossings. Additionally, at the Trunk Highway 47 crossing, truncated domes were installed on the trail at the <br /> crossing, the driveway in the SE quadrant at Trunk Highway 47 was removed, and curb and gutter was installed in <br /> the NW quadrant at Trunk Highway 47 to better delineate the driveway on the north side of the tracks. <br /> On behalf of the City of Anoka, Hakanson Anderson completed all permitting, design, construction administration <br /> and coordination between the City, Anoka County,the Minnesota Department Transportation, Burlington Northern <br /> Santa Fe Railroad, and the Federal Railroad Administration.
