Box 490 <br /> Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> RE: Meeting to Discuss Central Region Development Company <br /> 1:00 p.m.,iWednesday, May 26th at at Russell's <br /> Dear Mr. in: 1� ✓o I I <br /> • The Board of Directors of the Coon Rapids Development Company has met several times <br /> in recent weeks to discuss the structure of Central Region Development Company - the <br /> certified development company proposed to service Sherburne, Wright and Anoka Counties. <br /> During these discussions, several major structural changes were made by my Board to the <br /> plan which was originally presented and accepted by your economic development group. <br /> Before any further work is invested in a formal application to the SBA for an expansion of <br /> service territory, I would like to be certain that you both understand and accept the changes <br /> my Board has proposed. <br /> Following are the major changes suggested by the CRDC Board: <br /> 1) The name of the organization will be "Coon Rapids Development Company d/b/a <br /> Central Region Development Company". <br /> 2) Special "Central Region" letterhead will be used for all correspondence with <br /> Sherburne and Wright County clients, and a "dedicated" telephone line will be <br /> established to assist borrowers from those counties. <br /> 3) The Coon Rapids Board of Directors will serve as the Board for Central Region <br /> Development Company. No special representation from Sherburne or Wright <br /> • Counties will be solicited. <br /> 4) All Board meetings will be held in Coon Rapids, and the company headquarters will <br /> remain in Coon Rapids. <br />
