A coffee and rolls reception will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., in Reception Room 710, adjacent to the county board room, at the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 3rd Avenue, Anoka. During the reception, Roger will be recognized at the county's Management Committee meeting • that starts at 8:30 a.m. in the county board room. At that time, the committee will consider a resolution honoring Roger. The resolution will then be forwarded to the full county board. Roger is receiving his award from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on May 31 at a special awards luncheon in Minneapolis. Edward A. Daum, SBA District Director, wrote in a letter to Roger: "Your professional and personal service to your community has earned our admiration, and you are most deserving of this recognition." Not only does this award reflect well on Roger, it also demonstrates that Anoka County is a good place to start and grow businesses. So while we are taking this opportunity to celebrate Roger's accomplishments, we also are extending our appreciation to you for your contributions to building the economy in Anoka County.
