Highway 10 and central business district, <br /> o Promote a coordinated Highway 10 corridor plan, <br /> ❑ Promote Commuter Rail, <br /> o Promote all levels of Housing, and <br /> o Support Training and Education. <br /> Action <br /> Policy Making <br /> • <br /> o ,. .. or&Associates,Inc. to facilitate a two-hour meeting among the EDA <br /> Commission,staff,business community leaders, Chamber of Commerce President <br /> and the School District Superintendent and appropriate staff of the School District. <br /> Ms. Duckor to present workforce challenges raised by business and education <br /> leaders in the Twin Cities Metro area. (2003) <br /> ❑ Recommend that the Elk River-School Board establish a formal business advisory <br /> committee reporting to the Board so the "business voice" can be heard on an on- <br /> going basis. (2003) <br /> ❑ Support the bonding bill for the Northstar Commuter Project at the Minnesota <br /> Legislature. (Fall 2002 and Legislative Session 2003) <br /> ❑ Continue to support the Downtown Revitalization Project. (On-going) <br /> ❑ Conduct a more detailed housing stock analysis with GIS to determine housing <br /> needs for the City.
