Promotions & Advertising Strategy <br /> Inquiries <br /> The Director of Economic Development has provided a separate report on the 2002 <br /> Inquiries/Prospects. <br /> ACT contact management software was purchased and installed to improve the tracking of <br /> inquiries and key accounts in 2003. <br /> Economic Development Web Page <br /> Staff refined the design for the industrial site-specific information into a table founat so that <br /> it is easier to read. Site-specific access to major roadways and road tonnage will be added in <br /> the near future. The Economic Development web page is located within the City's web site <br /> at www.ci.elk-river.mn.us. <br /> The 2003 Community Profile has also been placed on the Economic Development web <br /> page, as well as the City's home page under the "Services" sidebar. The final print of the <br /> • 2003 Community Profile will be distributed at the EDA meeting. <br /> 2003 Ad Campaign <br /> The Feb.3Td MN Real Estate Journal and the Feb. Leasing Guide ads featured E & 0 Tool <br /> and Plastics. Staff is working to schedule future photo shoots with additional Elk River <br /> manufacturers. <br /> V. Public Relations Strategy <br /> Energy City <br /> Staff continues to work with Tammy Miller Design to refine the new Energy City brochure. <br /> The Action Committee for Energy (ACE) has approved a folder with insert design that will <br /> allow staff to update and print inserts in-house. <br /> MN Technology Partnership <br /> Please see the attached memo from the Director of Economic Development. <br /> VI. Strategic Partnership Strategy <br /> Downtown Revitalization Project <br /> No new developments have occurred with the Downtown Revitalization Project. As new <br /> developments occur, staff will provide the EDA with the monthly Downtown Revitalization <br /> Project update located within the City's web site under the News & Events sidebar and the <br /> Downtown Revitalization Project link. <br /> • <br />
