Energy Alley presents <br /> Minnesota's Renewable Energy Research : <br /> Status & Opportunities <br /> Energy Alley's conference on research is designed to focus and prioritize research on renewable energy in <br /> Minnesota. The conference will present the extent of research currently taking place in Minnesota in order to <br /> determine particular strengths in local capabilities, as well as critical gaps. The conference will include a <br /> participant discussion directed specifically towards enabling research institutions, policymakers, industry and <br /> nonprofits to make informed decisions about providing resources for energy research. <br /> Speakers and attendees will address critical questions about the future of renewables research in Minnesota: <br /> * How much and what kind of research in renewable energy is under way in Minnesota now? <br /> What are the particular strengths and critical gaps in the renewable energy research field in Minnesota? <br /> *What are the top priorities for projects and resources for the state and the University of Minnesota's new <br /> Initiative for Renewable Energy and the Environment? <br /> The conference will include a poster session that will provide a comprehensive look at Minnesota's research in <br /> renewable energy, as well as energy-efficient technologies.
