Memo to the EDA/Meadowvale Rezoning Request <br /> April I I,2005 <br /> Page 2 1870 Meadowvale Road <br /> • <br /> iMi,i t, k, <br /> - <br /> leg • Storage Yard for Bovine <br /> Excavating <br /> • <br /> The subject parcels are located between the McChesney Industrial Park to the west which is <br /> guided and zoned Light Industrial and town homes/small apartments on the east guided and <br /> zoned for Multi-Family Residential. The request to reguide and rezone the subject parcels to <br /> Residential would not be a spot zone but would be an extension of the adjacent zoning to <br /> the east. However, the EDA's past policy is to attempt to preserve and maintain its <br /> inventory of Light Industrial guided and zoned property of this site may lend itself to a <br /> Brownfield reclamation for additional developable lots for small industrial users. <br /> Request <br /> Staff requests that the EDA review the request and provide direction to staff regarding the <br /> work force housing proposal outlined by Mr. Strauss. <br /> 411 <br />
