Days off shall be concurrent. If there is a need for days that are not concurrent, those days shall be arranged with your supervisor and approved by human resources or the city administrator. Additional time off for bereavement leave may be granted and charged to vacation leave or compensatory time, if any. Additional bereavement leave may be granted by the City Administrator at his/her discretion for extraordinary situations. ARTICLE XX.
