<br />The above entitled manor Deme on to be Beard before the Village
<br />Counail•of the Village of Elk River, upon a petition duly filed by George L.Lowe for the
<br />_ vacation of all that part of Vine Street in the Townsite of Orono,in said Village of tik
<br />River, between the trunk highway and the Elk River mill pond, so called, in the County of
<br />Sherburne, State of Minnesotan and the Village Council,having given due notice of said
<br />hearing by a published and posted notice thereoip to be had on the let day Of August, 1938
<br />at the Council Room in the Municipal Building in said UIIA989, at the hour of eight o'clock
<br />P.M. and no oneappearing in opposition thereto and the said Council after hearing the avi-
<br />demo* prevented to it in favor,of said petition that the said street had never been used Or
<br />open to use by the publio and t4t ,it would be to the best interests of the pub iia to
<br />vacate the same, Councilman a.A.Bailey introduced the following resolution,to-wit .I

<br />Which said resolution was seconded by Councilman George Cornelius and a
<br />majority of said Council voted in favor of said resolution. whereupon said
