“The City of Woodland Park is pleased to provide a letter of reference for Spohn Ranch. In July 2011, Spohn Ranch completed the Red Mountain Adventure Park project which included a concrete skate park and dirt BMX course. From planning through construction, we were impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and quality of service. During the design process, Spohn Ranch representatives Jason Baldessari and Vince Onel engaged our local skaters and BMX riders to customize our park to fit the needs of our community. We are particularly impressed with the unique design, which incorporated the input from our community. The comments from the park users have been overwhelmingly positive. This was a rewarding project for our community and we enjoyed working with Spohn Ranch. Our grand opening was a huge success with over 200 people attending. We are pleased with the ongoing use of our facility by the youth and adults in our community.” - Cindy Keating, Parks and Recreation Director “I am writing this letter to express my highest level of satisfaction with Spohn Ranch Skateparks and their work on the North Trail skate court project with the Miami Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. From the conceptual design phase to the ultimate construction of the project, Mr. Jason Baldesari and his team provided an exemplary level of service and were absolutely instrumental in delivering a quality product to the residents of Miami Dade County. As the lead designer of the project, I was truly grateful to work with an organization that clearly cares about their customers as evidenced by their level of communication, service, and professionalism. Beyond providing what we required, Jason consistently demonstrated a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude that made working with Spohn Ranch an absolute pleasure. During the construction phase of the project, the Spohn Ranch team was actively engaged in the planning and coordination of construction activities and maintained an effective channel of communication with the general contractor on the project as well as with our internal construction manager. This was critical in completing the skate court on schedule and meeting the precise specifications called for on the plans. The Spohn Ranch construction representatives, Mr. Doug Hagen and Ms. Olivia Rich, did a great job in working with our general contractor to make sure he understood and followed the proper procedures. Upon witnessing the completed skate court, I could not be more satisfied with the way it turned out. Having been an amateur skateboarder and bmx rider in my younger years, I may have a unique perspective on the quality and appeal of this project. From this perspective, I simply see a beautiful park that begs to be skated – perhaps this is the most significant comment I can say about Spohn Ranch and what they do.
