• Dave Ninow has been working on getting backwash meters for Well#2 and#3. As we
currently send our backwash to the sanitary sewer system, these meters will help ensure
we accurately account, and pay for the water backwashed to the wastewater department.
• We completed the final walkthrough for the Gary Street Water Tower interior
reconditioning. During the process, the Northstar Commuter Rail antennas were removed
from the top of the tower. As part of the project, we had the exterior of the tower washed.
We still have to install the mixer and the new fall protection. After all of the work is
complete, we'll ask the Fire Department for help washing out the inside of the tower to
put the tower back into service. Attached are pictures of the reconditioning project.
• Verizon Wireless is still revising their plans to install antennas on the Auburn Street
Water Tower. Verizon Wireless has also approached us about adding six more antennas
to the top of Gary Street Tower. This request will initiate a plan review and an
amendment to the current contract.
• We had Ben Totzke shadow our water operators October 26-30. Ben is an intern from St.
Cloud's Technical College Water Environmental Technologies (WET) Program.
ATTACHMENTS:
• October Pumping by Well
• October 2015 Daily Temperature Graph
• October 2015 Accumulated Precipitation Graph
• Photo—Hydrant by AutoZone
• Photos—Gary Street Water Tower Reconditioning Project
POWERED BY
Page 2 of 2 NATURE
Reliable Public
Power Provider P 0WE 0.E D TO S ERV E
171
