Water P&L <br /> September's water consumption(for August usage)is down 11%overall from the prior <br /> year: <br /> • Residential usage is down 7% <br /> • Commercial usage is down 14% <br /> Water Operating Revenues are behind last year by 10%at$308,262 however, year-to- <br /> date revenues are ahead by 1.4%. <br /> Other Revenues are behind the prior year at$42,336, compared to $54,668. The decrease <br /> from the prior year is due to Connection Fees. Total Revenues of$350,598 are behind <br /> the prior year by 12%, yet year-to-date up by 2%. Year-to-date revenues are ahead of <br /> budget by 5%. <br /> Expenses are consistent with the prior year. Distribution Expense is down approximately <br /> $6,000 due to labor allocations this year compared to last year. Last year Supervisory <br /> labor was included here, and that has been changed to Production Expense instead. <br /> For September, the Water Department has a Net Profit of$154,349, compared to last year <br /> Net Profit of$188,901.
