Discussion <br /> was also held regarding whether or not the Elk River Mall was interested in securing <br /> the post office as a tenant. <br /> Following discussion it was the consensus of the HRA that the West Business Park <br /> would be a good location for the post office and would possibly promote interest <br /> for other businesses to locate in that area. It was further the consensus that if the <br /> post office relocated its retail business in the downtown area it may promote <br /> business for the existing retailers in the area. <br /> 7. Other Business <br /> 7.1. Change the February HRA Meetina Date to the 3rd Monday- February 16, <br /> 1999 <br /> COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO CHANGE THE FEBRUARY MEETING DATE <br /> FROM FEBRUARY 22 TO FEBRUARY 16 AT 5:00 P.M. COMMISSIONER WILSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 7.2. Discuss HRA Recommendation to Mayor/City Council for Appointment to <br /> the HRA to Replace Commissioner Farber <br /> Discussion was held by the HRA regarding a recommendation for the new <br /> HRA member. It was the consensus of the HRA that it would be beneficial <br /> to have a representative of the City Council on the HRA. Commissioner <br /> • Hinkle suggested that the HRA recommend the appointment of <br /> Councilmember Thompson to the HRA. It was the consensus of the HRA to <br /> authorize Paul Steinman to indicate to the Council that the HRA suggested <br /> the appointment of Councilmember Thompson. <br /> Paul Steinman distributed the action plan in relation to the central business <br /> district visioning process. <br /> 8. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br /> MEETING. COMMISSIONER HINKLE SECONDED THE MOTION.
