Kent Eken(DFL- Twin Valley) <br /> To require review of a proposed rule by the Office of the Legislative Auditor if the rule has a <br /> perceived"substantial economic impact." If the OLA determines that the proposed rule does <br /> have a substantial economic impact, legislative approval would be required before it could go <br /> into effect. <br /> STATUS: HF 1261 received several hearings in the House and was included in the House state <br /> government budget bill (HF 1864). SF 1329 did not receive a hearing in the Senate. The <br /> language was not included in the state government budget conference committee report that was <br /> ultimately signed into law. <br /> 148 <br />
