Credit Union Interconnection <br /> 1) Purpose —This will serve as an emergency backup tie to Area #2. <br /> 2) Timing /Term — <br /> a) The installation needs to be completed as part of the Area#1 acquisition <br /> in the fall of 2015. <br /> b) Term —This installation will remain in place until ERMU acquires Area #2. <br /> The preliminary date for ERMU's acquisition of Area #2 is the fall of 2016. <br /> 3) Design <br /> a) The interconnection will use an existing air break switch. <br /> 4) Construction <br /> a) Construction will be done by CE crews <br /> 5) Equipment and labor Cost - ERMU will reimburse CE for loaded labor and <br /> material. <br /> 6) Metering & SCADA <br /> a) Due to the temporary nature of this interconnection and the low probability <br /> of it being used, no metering or SCADA will be installed. <br /> b) CE and ERMU will follow best utility practices to estimate or measure the <br /> tie line flow if this interconnection is used. <br /> 7) Wholesale Power billing adjustments <br /> a) ERMU power supplier: GRE/CE (up to October 1, 2018) — In the event <br /> this interconnection is used, CE will work with ERMU and Great River <br /> Energy to adjust the power bill. <br /> b) ERMU power supplier: MMPA (beginning October 1, 2018) — It is not <br /> anticipated that this interconnection will still be in use after 10/1/18. <br /> 77 <br />
