Personnel Committee is looking to implement any changes within the pay plan as directed by the <br />Mayor and City Council. The Committee believes any changes as directed by the Mayor and City <br />Council should be implemented in a timely manner and possibly as soon as September 2004. <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee will also be discussing some department specific exceptions and also the <br />relationship of the building inspectors additional compensation and the role that will play on the <br />recently completed salary survey. <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee will be making a recommendation to the Mayor and City Council in <br />reference to both the non-exempt and exempt positions within the City of Elk River pay plan. The <br />Committee members will be present at the August 9, 2004, City Council meeting to answer any <br />questions that the Mayor and City Council may have in reference to the 2004 salary survey. The <br />Committee shall be seeking direction from the Council as to the next steps in the salary survey <br />process of which include: <br /> · Date of Council action to adopt salary survey recommendations. <br /> · Salary survey schedule of implementation. <br /> <br /> <br />
