This <br />parking area was constructed in the middle of the 1999-2000 school year. Scott <br />indicated that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the request <br />for one year, until June 15, 2001. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Tom Thompson, 12899 217rn Avenue felt the school should be spending its money <br />more wisely by requiring the students to take the bus. <br />There being no one else for or against the matter, Mayor Klinzing closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz questioned why this request wasn't presented to the <br />council before the beginning of the school year.
