Oct 3 <br /> 7:45 AM <br /> <br />Depart Seattle via Cascades Talgo train to <br /> <br />Vancouver, BO. (Train trip is 4 hours) <br />Arrive in Vancouver, B.C., meet with <br />West Coast Express officials and tour <br />the commuter rail system. <br /> <br />Wed. Oct 4 <br /> <br />Depart Vancouver for either Minneapolis or <br />Denver <br /> <br />Wed Oct 4-8 <br /> <br />Rail~Volution Conference (see attached <br />conference schedule and registration form) in <br />Denver; CO <br /> <br />The following information provides further background: <br />· Sound Transit commuter rail systems officially opens on September <br /> 19, 2000 between Seattle and Tacoma (Phase I). Sound Transit <br /> staff have been particularly helpful in guiding NCDA staff through <br /> many of the complex issues inherent in developing the Northstar <br /> project.
