Agenda Item #3b <br /> <br />NORTHSTAR CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> 2000- <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT <br /> AGREEMENT NO. 78569 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Northstar Corridor Development Authority entered into Grant <br />Agreement No. 78569 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) <br />to complete studies for the proposed commuter rail project in the Northstar Corridor, <br />to undertake a public information involvement program, to negotiate with Burlington <br />Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company, and other components of the Grant <br />Agreement work plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parties wish to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Grant <br />Agreement No. 78569 to add preliminary engineering services as work to be <br />performed under the Grant Agreement and to provide that the Grant Agreement and <br />any Amendments to the Grant Agreement are subject to Minn. Stat. Sections <br />174.80 to 174.90. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Northstar Corridor <br />Development Authority enter into Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement No. 78569 <br />with the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 'the Chair or Vice Chair of the Northstar <br />Corridor Development Authority are hereby authorized to execute the <br />aforementioned Amendment. <br /> <br />Betsy Wergin, Chairperson <br /> <br />Dated: <br /> <br /> <br />
