Interested applicants can review and <br /> complete an application on the agency's website: www.mnsports.org/mighty ducks.stm or <br /> request an application from the above contacts. <br /> Deadline <br /> All proposals must be postmarked no later than Thursday, October 1,2015. <br /> Responders must submit three copies of their proposal for agency review.Proposals must be <br /> sealed in a mailing envelope with the responder's name and address. <br /> Grant Amount <br /> The MASC is authorized by the 2015 Legislature to appropriate up to$2,000,000 for this <br /> program,with limitations on each individual grant amount listed below.Respondents must <br /> demonstrate how they intend to augment the state grant with matching funds. <br /> 1. New Ice Arena Development. Communities may apply for up to$250,000 for new ice <br /> sheets with a minimum 1-to-1 dollar match from non-state sources.No grants will be <br /> awarded to new arenas that include R-22 refrigeration systems. <br /> 2. Indoor Air Quality Improvement.Communities may apply for up to$200,000 for new <br /> electric ice resurfacing equipment or for the replacement or renovation of HVAC systems <br /> to improve indoor air quality with a minimum i-to-i dollar match from non-state sources. <br /> 3. Direct R-22 Refrigerant Elimination. Communities may apply for up to$400,000 to <br /> replace an existing R-22 direct refrigeration system with a minimum 1-to-1 dollar match <br /> from non-state sources. <br /> 4. Indirect R-22 Refrigerant Elimination. Communities may apply for up to$50,000 to <br /> replace an existing R-22 indirect refrigeration system with a minimum 1-to-1 dollar <br /> match from non-state sources. <br /> Project Completion <br /> For 2015 grant award recipients,the project must be completed within sixteen months after the <br /> grant contract is executed. <br /> APPLICATION FORM <br /> 1.
