Planning Commission Minutes <br />July 14, 2015 <br />The Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Page 3 <br />Motion by Commissioner Larson -Vito and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to <br />recommend approval of the request for a Conditional Use Permit for Limited Stay <br />Lodging, with the following conditions: <br />1. The Conditional Use Permit is not a building permit and the applicant must <br />apply for and receive approval of required building and sign permits before <br />construction may begin. <br />2. The existing building and addition shall meet all building and fire codes. <br />3. All sources of artificial lights shall be so fixed, directed, designed or sized that <br />the minimum subtotal of their illumination will not increase the level of <br />illumination on any nearby residential property by more than 0.1 footcandle in <br />or within 25 feet of a dwelling or by more than 0.5 footcandle on any part of <br />the property. <br />4. The subject property shall be final platted prior to any permits being issued. <br />5. The limited stay lodging shall not exceed a period of seven (7) consecutive <br />days. <br />6. There shall be no storage, repair, and /or maintenance of snowmobiles, cars, <br />trucks, go- carts, and /or ATV's or other vehicles outside of the building. <br />7. All doors of the facility shall be kept closed at all times except for the passage <br />of people or vehicles. <br />8. The level of noise from the building shall not exceed city ordinance levels. <br />9. All comments on the environmental memo dated June 5, 2015 shall be <br />addressed. <br />10. All comments on the engineering division memo dated June 8, 2015 shall be <br />addressed. <br />11. All comments on the stormwater coordinator memo dated June 10, 2015 shall <br />be addressed. <br />The Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Thiel to <br />recommend approval of the following ordinance amendments: <br />5.2a Section 30 -1— Definitions <br />5.2b Section 30 -880 — Extreme Commercial Recreation <br />5.2c Section 30 -1041— Principal Structures <br />5.2d Section 30 -1042 — Accessory Structure Setbacks <br />Motion carried 5 -0. <br />6.
