Veterans Memorial Park <br /> Mound,Minnesota <br /> 'f <br /> ;✓ <br /> 7" <br /> Y <br /> � N <br /> l� <br /> The Mound Veterans Memorial Park is an important public focal point of the downtown and <br /> is part of the Mound Visions downtown revitalization plan. Veterans Memorial Park,located <br /> REFERENCE prominently along County Road 15,is a pivotal point between the Mound Transit Center, <br /> Kandis Hanson a multi-modal transit hub,a regional bike and hike trail,and the Lost Lake Greenway and <br /> City Manager Canal. <br /> City of Mound <br /> 952-472-0609 HKGi's landscape architects led the design process for this park. As a result of the process, <br /> kandishanson@cityofmound.com the final park design incorporates several features desired by the Veterans community, <br /> including flags,a granite memorial,benches,circular paver walking path,lush plantings and <br /> shade trees. HKGi also produced construction documentation and provided construction <br /> administration services for the City.
