<br />The Northstar Corridor Development Authority met in regular session on April 6, 2000, in the
<br />Board Room at the Sherbume County Government Center, Elk River, Minnesota.
<br />
<br />Present were: John Weaver, Jerry Newton, Peter Beberg, Dave Saunders, Paul McCarron, Gary
<br />Erickson, Lynn George, Don Jolly, Tom Cruikshank, Jerry Leese, Art Daniels, Duane Cekalla,
<br />Carl Yilek, Gerald Goebel, Bob Johnson, John Ellenbecker, Duane Grandy, Terry Nagorski,
<br />John Norgren, Lewis Stark, Tom Gamec, Joy Scherber, Linda Jungwirth, Ed Shunlde, Jay
<br />McLinden, Dan Michalko, Rick Speak, Jim Barton, Dartrell Lipscomb, Scott Harlicker, Vic
<br />Oviatt, John Blaha, Robert Kirchner, Mike Christensen, Jeff Dehler, Yvonne Chaillet, Rick Nau,

<br />1. The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />A motion was made by Paul Nieman, Jr., seconded by Jerry Leese and carried
<br />unanimously to approve the agenda of April 6, 2000, and the minutes of March 2, 2000,
<br />as presented.
<br />
<br />3. Executive Committee Report:

<br />A motion was made by John Norgren, seconded by Jen-y Goebel, and carded
<br />unanimously to authorize the Chair to execute the contract with TDKA for a term
<br />of May 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000, for an amount not to exceed
<br />$845,900, to perform the work set forth in the Request For Proposals (RFP) for
<br />preliminary engineering of track and railroad improvements as recommended by
<br />the Executive Committee.

<br />A motion was made by Duane Grandy, seconded by Jerry Newton, and carded
<br />unanimously to authorize the Chair to execute the contract with IBI for the
<br />term of May 1, 2000, through December 31, 2000, in the amount not to exceed
<br />$100,000, to perform the work set forth in the Request for Professional Services
<br />(RPS) for station area planning as recommended by the Executive Committee.

<br />c. Paul McCarron presented an update on current legislative issues.
