Consider Adjustment to Property Value (Board of Review) <br /> <br />Local Board of Review - Continued from 5/1/00 <br /> <br />The City Clerk noted that on 5/1/00 the Board of Review was asked to review the <br />reassessed property valuation for Parcel # 75-431-0420. She indicated that the <br />assessor's office completed a reappraisal of the property and recommended <br />decreasing the market value to $177,200. <br /> <br />MAYOR KLINZING MOVED TO LOWER THE MARKET VALUE OF PROPERTY 75-431-0420 <br />OWNED BY ROLFE ANDERSON FROM $206,600 TO $177,200 FOR THE 2000 <br />ASSESSMENT. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4.2. Consider Park Equipment Bids <br /> <br />Street/Park Superintendent Phil Hals distributed two memos and indicated that <br />bids were opened for playground equipment for Country Crossings III, Lion's Park, <br />Meadow Park, and Trott Brook Farms Park. He noted that the city received one <br />bid and is recommending that the council approve the bid. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commissioner Kuester explained that the Park and <br />Recreation commission is currently on a budget system for adding park <br />equipment to area parks. He further indicated that the commission will be more <br />systematic in adding equipment in the future and that the commission is pleased <br />to begin adding park amenities through this process. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO ACCEPT THE BID FROM EARL F. ANDERSON <br />FOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR TROTT BROOK FARMS, MEADOW, LION'S, AND <br />COUNTRY CROSSINGS III PARKS. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4.3. Consider Acquisition of Devine Barn <br /> <br />Street/Park Superintendent Phil Hals indicated that the Park and Recreation <br />Commission voted to recommend that the City Council acquire the Devine Barn <br />and relocate it to the park in Troh' Brook Farms.
